Well, let’s just say that they are coco along with Startup Grind. LOL! Anyways, EA has released a statement today in response to these allegations. Let’s take a look at it below!
“EA is growing and looking to hire hundreds of people for our digital, console, mobile and social games. Like all game companies, we make occasional adjustments to resize teams as projects are completed and new priorities are established. Overall, we expect that headcount will be up at the end of this year.”
Interesting!!! No? You know it is.
Like all large companies, they’re taking a hit in the wallet and laying/firing the slackers in the company, then under-performers go, then they work the good employees to death then hire new talent…which means more changes and upheaval (sometimes a good thing for players, sometimes not) it is the way of the beast
Enough with the over the top headlines, Kotaku did LIE!!!!!! they reported on a fact like a good reporter which they followed up and reported and updated. Also they aren’t Coco, Loco or other forms of insults they are human beings reporting there information from there sources. You have made mistakes before on the site and you have corrected them. They didn’t LIE (INSERT 5 EXCLAMATION POINTS)
Ea stock crashed in July of 2008 (along with the rest of the world) and has yet to recover. To blame anything but the recession is really short sited.
The lie, is not checking the facts before rushing to print.
I believe that even more damaging to EA is the hord of 12 yr.olds and like minded people badmouthing the games just because they can.
@ DaBoggadie: have you ever played the sims or sims 2? Don’t get me wrong sims 3 has alot of innovations, but it has alot of rough edges too. so no, don’t go slamming people for their opinions, it makes you look small minded. glad you like ea, their business practices and their current products. I fathom I’d get a slight more enjoyment on a newer pc, but visuals mean nothing if a game is fun (minecraft!) so, I do accuse ea of being shallow and creating a beautiful but empty game (when compared to other sims games) so I’m glad for you and your support of them, but I do not share your optimism nor enjoyment.
