A new ‘Rain’ category has been discovered on the Daring Diva Outfit from the Seeing Stars Set!!! What does this mean? Possibly that a mistake was made and that Weather will be EP 8 if not part of 7? That’s what I am hoping for, but alas it’ll probably be EP 8. If so, the end of The Sims 3 will most likely follow. With EA looking to hire more new people and move around people between teams, maybe TS4 will be announced next year? Am I making too much out of this? Dunno, but hopefully it’ll be the one EP that’s bug free.

Wait a Minute! When they says on the Category Rain , then is it maybe actually the Weather Expansions Pack :O . But its a Rumor hopefully its Weather ^^ 😀

That does not look like something I would wear in the rain lol But yeah Im getting the feeling we might get the EP7 on july then the EP8 on Oct or Nov and that would allow next year for Sims 4.
They did take a year after Sims 2 to release Sims 3 right? Cant remember.
I’m more curious as to what situation that clothing item would ever qualify as formalwear or even careerwear for that matter. But then I realise this is EA – the same EA that decided that swimming flippers were suitable as everyday footwear.

As much as I am hoping that a weather Expansion Pack will ignite my interest in The Sims 3 again, I’m not holding my breath.
Yep, and it made more sense for it to be called “outerwear” instead of “outside” or just “outer.” Maybe it will be changed before it’s finalized.
We could be getting winter wear too since it’s not just outerwear again. I definitely wouldn’t have expected two new categories in one EP.
Aparment Life, the last EP in The Sims 2, was released in August (and the Stuff Pack M&G in November). Therefore almost a year past between the last expansion pack and the new bame (August 2008 – June 2009).
The big difference is the timeline. The Sims 2 was released in September 2004; while The Sims 3 was released almost 5 years later. If they release Sims 4 the next year, it will be only 4 years between one game and its sequel. I think is way too soon. Even sooner than with Sims 1 (which have 7 EPs and no stuff packs) .
I guess if they release 3 EPs this years, they will release then last 2 the next year. I bet there’re 10 EPs this time.
I doubt any of the new stuff is in anyway intresting, I lost intrestin sims since Pets came out. Ea just doesnt care, if they just cared enough to fix most of the glitches that are STILL present (even ones that were present in AMBITIONS).
They also waited until the last minute to make Weather despite it being wanted ALL The TIME.
Sigh those dang flippers.

Sims 3: Street Walkers
In Sims 4, weather should be a part of the base game – like it was going to be with Sims 2 (but was removed due to problems).. EA know it makes money so probably wont, but it’s such a basic thing, it should be added.
Weather in the base game of sims 3 was a duh…but it didn’t
