I have blasted EA CEO John Riccitiello in the past due to his comments and opinion on using SecuROM on their games, but after getting this letter in the mail yesterday, I have to respect him for what he has done. Read the letter below:
From the Desk of EA CEO John Riccitiello
Dear Judson Hudson,
First off, let me thank you for the wonderful job you have done promoting our EA products to the huge mass of Sim fans out there. We take great pride in our work at EA and our beloved Sims franchise and we’d like to touch base with you about the various comments listed on your site, SimPrograms.
It seems to me that a great deal of fans are upset with our product, The Sims 3, and it’s various expansions and stuff packs. We make sure our products go through an extensive quality assurance process to deliver the best game possible. However, it seems as if we have made a mistake – our Q&A budget for our Sim games has been blown on supplying our Sims Team with a great deal of cupcakes, cookies, pizza and beer.
Unfortunately we cannot refund your money for the product as it’s already been spent due to the fact that I bought a new yacht, a condo in Florida, and six more Tesla Roadsters valued at $100,000 each so I can drive a different one for each day of the week. However, as a sympathy gift, please enjoy this half-eaten grilled cheese sandwich from our Sims Team.

Why exactly did I say I respected what he has done? Well, it was the best damn grilledcheese sandwich I ever had. Just wished he would of sent a whole one…Anybody else get one of these letters? I wonder if he plans on sending them out to the million’s of other players who bought the game. Better order more toasters and cheese, Riccitiello!
Oh, I didn’t see the P.S. note at the bottom of the letter…shake my head, I knew it was too good to be true…
P.S. – That will be $2.50 for the sandwich – APRIL FOOLS!!
The letter he’s itching to send. God, the amount EA seems to hold its Sims customers in contempt is beyond me.

So you DID make it yourself then xD funny.. really good. I believe but when I noticed something about a yacht and the grilled sandwhich in the picture I knew it was a fake xD.
LOL. I wanted to do something that didn’t involve a fake game/expansion…because even though it is April Fools Day…some people will end up thinking its the real deal – we still have people from time to time think the ‘Sims 3 Country Life’ expansion that SimTimes (I believe that’s who created it last year) is true.
they STILL think it’s real? lmao.. that’s funny.. well you could say Riverview is the “Country Life” xD
btw is there any news at all on Generations? It has not even been fully announced by EA has it and it’s slated to be out in about a May (two months)
Sadly, still no news on Generations. I dunno why they are holding it off. Our only other guess is that next Tuesday will be the announcement.
LOL if I had know you were doing this, I would have scanned in the official letterhead for EA and mailed it to you. I got some documentation a few years back with their letterhead!! xD

Kiwi_Tea, of course EA loves the sims its the most sucessful franchise, EA could make an EP that ahs four new hairstyles and make huge amounts of money.
Cute joke jud…I thought it was real til I got to the part about the half grilled cheese sammich…lol. Unfortunately the part about the yacht, etc. is probably true.
I do recall that he does own 1 gray Telsa Roadster (which really is valued at $100,000). Of course, he puts in the time, so I can’t be mad that he can buy expensive toys like that 😛 Not sure on the yacht though!
