EA released a new update for The Sims 3 for those that have it on their iPhone / iPod Touch. The update includes a new cheat to unlock unlimited Simoleans. To activate it you need to pause the game, select ‘Help & Info‘ and then ‘Tips for Gardening‘. Shake your device and you should see 500 Simoleans each time you attempt this. I have iPhone 3gs (until tomorrow) did the update and I go into my game, menu, help, gardening and shake and NOTHING. It sounds so simple, what am I missing, it’s not working.

I have te iPhone 4 and I just bought the sims3 app. I tried it the first time and it didn’t work but then I realized I tried it on the menu before I went into my saved game. so make sure you are actually playing ur game while doing this money cheat and while playing go to the three dots and then go to help&about then go to gardening tips and shake away. it let me just keep shaking all the way up into thousands of dollars! I finally stopped at ten thousand!!

It’s awesome source of getting simoleans! My 700 simoleans became 10000 simoleans just in 15 minutes! It works so well!! However, it doesn’t work with the Sims 3 Ambitions and the Sims 3 World Adventure…ㅠㅠ;;

I have the ipod(3rd gen i think? the one that came out right before the ipod with the cameras.) 32g an i am using the sims abitions, but it’s not working. I’ve tried pausing it then clickiung the gardening tips then shaking it an it does nothing. Then i tried NOT pausing it an clicking the gardening tips and still nothing.

Found the secret of making this work.. First time I tried it, nothing.. Wouldn’t work at all… But I was playing for a while and was on the town map
Anyway, then I loaded my char again from the main menu and went immediately into help / gardening and it worked like a charm. You have to shake the iphone vertically pretty hard (as if you’re trying to smash your sim against the floor and ceiling)

K so that link dudeman left leads to a YouTube video that shows you how to do it. If you can’t watch it I’ll tell you how here.
1-load your game. When your at your house go into build mode.
2-select build a room.
3-creat a huge room that attaches to your house!( need it to be attached in order to work).
4- exit your game once your done building your room.
5-your game automatically saves itself, load your game and you’ll see the room is still there!
6-select build mode.
7-click demolish.
8-demolish the room and you get money!
9- repeat steps 1-8 until desired amount. Remember not to save the game after you build the room! But do after you get your money lol.

For the Sims 3 World Adventures on iphone/ipod touch the only cheat i have found is to fish and grow things in your garden. after the stock is all filled up you can sell it at the market. usually one fish trip for me is about $300. only thing i found! hope i helped (: (:!!
You have to upgrade the sims 3 for iphone/ipod/ipad that way you can use the cheat and the graphics will be better.

I have found a couple cheats my self for sims 3 ambitions,but you would have to have already have mastered at least one career.
The first one is: you need to quit your job and then get rehired, you will get 5000 simoleons and your added salary.
The second one you need to have mastered two careers: you go to the recruitment agency apply for one of the jobs you mastered then when it asks you if you want to take the job decline. It will pay you the amount of salary you already earn from your current job.

It works but you have to shake it a little harder.
For all those on iPad, try pushing the 2x button so it’s on iPhone size and shake it vertically(up and down) really hard. I tried and did that so now the cheat always works for me. Hoped I helped! 🙂
well it don’t work on world adventures i don’t know about ambitions or medieval. But i have $15,200 from $700 going onto gardening tips and shaking it on sim 3. Hope I helped!!!

The sims iphone cheat does work even if your phone is old or new. Play game as usual and then go to options (three dots in a bubble …) go on to help and about or as some of you say its not there just look through all options until you see gardening tips and click onit then shake device in any way and cash will grow!! The sims ambitions cheat is easy. Get a job as whatever you want and before you start work go to town map and pause game. Click on your work on map and go to work still in pause mode, then go to menu where all your sims friends and info is and click go to work then do it again so you will have x3 go to work. unpause game and go qork. After you will get paid 3 times your pay!! Im a muscian and top pay is 1000 so i get 3000 every day and i only do half day hours! Try it and hope it helps 🙂 iphone only

i have a 4s and did this to SIMS3 not frreplay go to gardening and shake for 10 -20 seconds not just a lil shake a decent hefty shake lol
My friend and I try this and it really does work! But once you shake the iPhone/iPod you have to wait for the green sign to slide off the screen then you can shake it again!
