Ah, the very first SimCity I ever played way back when… That translates to a long time ago, which is when I was a kid. And no not a goat, but a child. lol Anyways, online retailer GOG has SimCity 2000 SE for only $2.39! This is a weekend only sale. It’s usually around $6 or so. Oh and not only do you get the game, but also the Urban Renewal Kit and the manual too!

I have this. I must say that it is a cinch to install and play. It will install DosBox for you and set everything up. Once in awhile I have a problem with the game where it goes from fullscreen to a small window, but I think I fixed that after modifying a few settings in the DosBox config file for the game.
The game…. awesome. Built a small city and it slowly went to bankruptcy. A challenge to play unlike the new one that is out. What would make this perfect is a bundle with SimCopter and Streets of SimCity.
For the price, it is completely worth it.
