Unfortunately for those purists who want everything they had from Sims 2 and nothing new… I’ve had the feeling since IP was revealed that this would shape up to be the OFB expansion (for real, not Ambitions). THAT would be why they’re promoting so much, and why it’s content wasn’t included in another expansion before now.
One of the producers of Ambitions once said it is the spiritual successor to OFB. I think IP is the product of people’s frustrations and disappointments with WA and AMB combined (i.e. real vacationing and building/running a business).
I see one thing in this trailer I’ve been requesting since Sim’s 2 and VERY excited for. I noticed a parent dipping their toddler in the water in waterwings. The other stuff looks really cool and fun to play with. I really got in to Castaway stories actually AFTER the release of sims 3 and played it for about a month straight. Actually this EP looks like a good one. I have all the EPs and the only ones I can say I don’t really care for are Showtime (beating a dead horse after late night) and Supernatural.

I thought about that as well. There’s already one on YouTube, but one made with IP will be 100X better.
I’ve never been so unexcited for an expansion pack (Well, except for maybe post-Showtime until Seasons).
It’s looks really good…but the only question is “Why wasn’t this stuff included in World Adventures?”

When I think OFB I do not think resort… bit annoyed but then it might be better and they could do a 13th ep who knows!
