Well he has mentioned several times in the past his dislike for Magic EPs and the theme in general. But at least we know the Seasons review might be better. He says he’s looking forward to it, especially the Aliens. I can’t wait!
He said that he does not care about aliens and that he does not want them in Seasons ( on the official forum ).
It’s okay that he does not like magic. That is his right.
But to say that Supernatural should never be made. That that theme not belong to Sims.
And that he do not recommend Supernatural for purchase is not objective.
He imposed his taste for everyone.
That’s why this is a bad review.

Thanks LGR, it was kinda good review but I was expecting more, even on the video length. I mean Sunlit Tides got 35 minutes and Supernatural, a whole new expansion, only 14? Kinda sounded like you didn’t wanted to do the review..
I thought the video was just as good as his other reviews. I knew he’d get dislikes for that opinion, though.
I just saw it as about the same reaction he had to Pets, no big deal. We got sufficient snarkyness. 😛
I took down the review as it had some issues. Most of it is remaining the same, including my final opinion/conclusion, but there were some factual mistakes regarding creatures and a few other features I wanted to mention but forgot to. The improved version will be up soon!
My only complaint….There were no arrests, oh wait, that is the LGR plays…damn, well I hope he’s inclined to do one w/ Supernatural just for the fun of it. If not, I’ll content myself with past crazy-assed exploits in simming. Althought odds are good he’s uninstalled he like right after he finished the review.
There’s nothing wrong with his review. He voiced his opinion, and he DID state that the expansion was really good and full of stuff IF you are into that sort of thing.
Thumbs up, LGR! Although it’s an EP I want, I still loved your review. Funny and entertaining as always.

From one of his videos showing off Store Premium Content, and this one, I’m guessing he did not uninstall Sweet Treats. From his tweets and comments in these and non-Sims videos, it seems like he mainly plays TS3 once a new game is released and then doesn’t touch it for a while. Maybe we’ll get lucky and he’ll explain this for us. 😉
I loved the review, and I do love Supernatural, it was hilarious, full of LGR’s typical snarky humour. It was very informative on what the game is about and I agree that werewolves are just glorified dogs. I don’t see the problem with his criticism – it’s his opinion, I’d rather he kept his integrity and said how he felt and you can tell by his reviews he has become disenchanted with the franchise, which a lot of people are though maybe not so much after the release of SN and the upcoming Seasons. I fully respect his opinion and thoroughly enjoyed the review.
I didn’t see him bash it, I don’t get why everyone’s having a fit, he’s stated a million times before, he simply isn’t into paranormal things. Didn’t anyone see his slender review? or LGR plays the Sims Makin Magic?
I think for someone who isn’t into that kind of thing, the review was incredibly fair and way more informative and maturely presented then anything EA’s done so far.
I got to watch my first live chat last month and face-palmed myself watching the 3 presenters doing the chat, I’ve never seen such unprofessional-ism from what are supposed to be producers/developers.
LGR at least sounded prepared, informed and with it during his review, I didn’t wonder if he’d been sniffing glue or white out right before recording.

I loved the fact the Katy Perry house of pain was on fire…

I just keep everything installed, as I’ve got a few terabytes of space for games so why not? But yeah, I pretty much only come back to the game when a new expansion or interesting premium content comes along. I’ll play it for however long it takes to form a thoughtful opinion on it, then go onto other games (I’m usually playing through a few games a week!)
Though sometimes something comes along that grabs me. Sunlit Tides was one, I’ve put probably 20 hours into that town alone just playing the game: no modes, nothing weird, just playing. And with how Seasons is looking, I see myself playing even more because it really does have me excited. It’s exactly the bunch of additions that I’ve been wanting in TS3 since the beginning and I can’t wait.
I think that despite the amount of content it provides, it doesn’t really interest me even though I like some small supernatural elements in my Sims. There aren’t enough downsides to the creatures and I’m disappointed that the werewolf is just a dog. The witches or fairies could be fun, but there just isn’t enough world building possibilities in it. I would have liked it better if say being a witch made you less compatible with fairies or if vampires and werewolves naturally disliked each other.
I disagree with him.
This is his worst review.

He’s deleted the video now, lucky I managed to watch it beforehand…

I liked his review despite the fact that this is the first Sims 3 EP I can say I truly love. Everyone has their own opinion though.
I thought the video was just as good as his other reviews. I knew he’d get dislikes for that opinion, though.

It’s called voicing an opinion. You either listen or don’t, it’s your choice. Come to my reviews, expect my take on the game.
At least you are honest and never kiss EA’s ass like that Curtis Paradise does. YOU ROCK LGR!
