I don’t know about anyone else but for the most part I’ve completely lost interest in Sim City 5 now, online, no terraforming, road issue just seems limiting, and I don’t really see modding any time soon hah. Not to put a downer on this, I’d still prefer news than no news.

As much as I felt disappointed, the Maxis community manager has set me at rest – for now. We barely know anything about this game, and it’s out in Feb. Gamescom will release loads of new information, and it cant be as bad as Societies. He said that SimCity fans will love the game, and that he has played it and to trust him.
I never bothered with terraforming, but forced-online worries me ONLY FOR THE FUTURE when EA ultimately closes it. It has zoning, simulation – and a lot of things we wanted and I think we need to wait and trust Maxis.
