When EA starts having “leaked trailers” of upcoming games from sites such as Daily Motion and YouTube, you know the Expansion is real! EA hasn’t removed the two uploads of it from YouTube yet, but they did mine. Well played EA… -_-

I think the reason behind this is that the next EP really is Showtime, but of course this trailer is fake.

I really hope this expansions is not real! It just seems so lame… Why can’t they just do seasons?
I think Showtime is real and that that video was just made by developers to outline how the trailer might look with actual gameplay, to work as sort of a placeholder. They wouldn’t be allowed to use real shows in the actual trailer, but this wasn’t meant to be seen so I imagine the footage from shows was meant to substitute gameplay.
The idea looks a bit rubbish though. =/
the only think i know, it’s if EA starts to do this kind of marketing games, I stop to play sims, yes right know i’m pissed of, the fans, never are heard, the themes of Ep’s are choose and maked by the creative team…
I’m tired to wait, to be heard…
Once again I will repeat, if it’s real, I’ll skip it. And btw, how in hell’s name can this kind of stupid idea can be “the 2nd most requested” ep when all it’s idea is so lame? Is this so kind of sarcasm of our idea EA?

I knew that this trailer was really odd…all of those random clips of real life and no Sims…I would’ve assumed it was fake if it wasn’t for the announcer, who is a real announcer I’ve heard many times on TV.
That makes perfect sense though…they’ll probably just substitute the clips of real people with Sims!!! This EP is gonna be like Superstar, which sounds amazing…………but they already added fame to the game, so I hope they add a LOT of new stuff in this EP.
I can’t imagine something worse than “Generations”. And if “Showtime” is about singers, a real fame system, supermodels, TV shows, in MY opinion, it’ll be awesome!
I don’t think that this will be the main feature for the next EP.
Although, I really think that this weird trailer is for marketing. They put online and we talk about. Rumors, speculations – isn’t that what this is all about?
Next EP can be about Superstar – that being said, its normal to think that this social features may appear to increase another kind of target public.
This still sounds like a terrible idea and I would have been cool with the whole celebrity aspect of it if they included it with Late Night like they should have but instead they gave us that terrible celebrity system that was tied to who you know instead of careers..
If this is real, I wont buy it in its current form. They would have to add something other than being a singer for me to buy it.
This expansion pack, if it’s real, will get real old real fast. The singing from World Adventures was bad enough, and I imagine it would be glitchy as all hell.Boring.

We have zero interest in social media like Twitter & Facebook, and never will have accounts on either. Also why would you want to send your Sims to someone else’s game!? Also you can upload sims anyway???
They can’t even get them to visit a different City in game and that is a very popular request!
No way is this going to be successful, and could be the first big flop for The Sims franchise!

Yep, that was my thought too… If this is real (and I’m pretty sure it’s not) I won’t buy that sh*t, sorry EA.
An ep like this would be extremel annoying, because for one simple fact – the sims don’t speak real words to begin with. imagine the super annoying singing version of ‘simlish’.
