A month or so ago, SimWay asked their readers to send in their questions that they want asked to the producers of Pets at GamesCom, SimGuru Graham and Aaron Cohen. Well, here are the questions that were asked and their answers.
Simway How many developers have worked on The Sims 3 single animal, and how long does it take to develop an addon?
For a typical expansion pack, we need about one year of development. It starts with the concept, through design and so on. Animal is just as easy in the alpha stage and that’s not currently ready. There are still a lot to do so currently.
It is passed on in the development of a lot of content between the teams, but any expansion is a project in itself and is therefore driven by different teams.
