Looks like a new set popped up in the Sims 3 Store – which includes the recent Lady Ravendancer Goth’s Book o’ Spells item. Magic is back with the Gothique Library! Special thanks to Sambails for finding this.

Yeah, it is my picture, and the sims site now is advertising it as #1 on the home screen.
I hope this means they are going to do a magic EP!!!
I wonder when the world will come out, after all both were mentioned in the store survey.

I seriously doubt this adds any real game play. It probably just says it brings magic back to be cute like with Barnacle Bay’s description that read, “Will your trip be a Vacation or a staycation” which convinced a lot of people that Barnacle Bay would be visitable, even through it was not, just like the other base hoods.
Well maybe I was wrong, I just checked out the thread below me, still I’m surprised they added this outside of an expansion pack.
Maybe soon. But with the Sims team working on a new world for both the PC and Console versions of Pets, they might not do that enchanted forest anytime soon. Then again it would mean more money for EA so they probably will.
Whenever I ask mySim do do something at the book, the snap away immediately after walking next to it.

Since we have patch 1.22 it seems pretty obvious that will be getting a patch soon so we can use the book and hopefully with some game fixes.

It looks like the jump bug is an EA error. There is a fix at MATY, but I won’t link to the specific thread. You’ll find it if you’re familiar with MATY.
Generations introduced TONNES of jump bugs that Twallan’s mods counter to great degree. This might be caused by the same/similar issues.
