Sims Nieuws picked up on quite the scoop in terms of upcoming Sim games for 2011. They discovered 3 future Sim titles to fill out the rest of the year thru the Dutch retailer Bart Smit:
- The Sims 3 Stuff Pack #4 – July 28, 2011
- The Sims Medieval EP #1 – September 1, 2011
- The Sims 3 Pets (Unleashed) – October 27, 2011
Keep in mind that dates are subject to change as well as name titles. But this gives us an excellent look at what to expect and when to expect it. As with most cases, while not yet confirmed by EA to be 100% official, when it makes its way to a retailer listing, it’s usually set in stone in terms of being true.
I don’t think that list is real. It has Guild Wars 2 listed for 9/1/11 and my brother who has been playing GW since the beginning said there’s no way GW2 will be out this year.
pets why pets , why not season , damt it i want SEASONNNNNNSSSS
OMG. Once I was at the presentation of The Sims Medieval in office of EA and i saw, that in the notebook of one of the workers was wrote “Sims Medieval EP1” and “Deluxe”. I don’t believe my eyes, but it was true.
I was in February 2011.
sorry
It was in February 2011
Pets!!!! Yayyy!!!! So happy this is getting further confirmations! We have so missed playing with our Pets!!
Yippee!!!!
We’re really happy about Pets… can you tell?
*buuuuuuuuuuuuuurp*
money cows
money cows wdwd
Well, seeing that I will not buy a Sims product for at least one year ! Pitty…
these list have been right before.
Medieval is to have expansion packs? 😮
That’s an exciting new. I know Pets will be the one for the new expansion anytime. Can’t wait for it:) We will probably be hearing the announcement from EA this summer or early fall.
bleh not exciting anymore
Haha, definitely getting a happy-about-Pets vibe from TickleOnTheTum. ; )
But rightly so! This is some first class sleuthery by Sim Nieuws. Curious about this Stuff Pack… please be something interesting… xD
Medieval expansion is pretty intriguing too, even though I’m not so hot for Medieval.
wow the next SP is gonna be out in July, if thats true (which i doubt, its probably gonna be more like Aug. 28) then we should get getting an official announcement pretty soon.
Medieval suck
bleh not exciting anymore
Wonder why Sims Nieuws has taken it down?
I’m interested, but mostly about Guild Wars 2. ShortyBoo, your brother is wrong; there have been playable demos of the game since fall 2010, a sure sign that the game is in the final stages. If the game really does come out this fall, I’m going to win a bet.
ok….Medieval EP1?….I think EA REALLY gone too far, since when Maxis made a standalone game with EP?
Pets? Meh….I don’t care…(heard 2 many complain to want them…result=disgusted)
Stuff pack?…..I dont dare expect it better then Outdoor Living.
Hmmm… a medieval EP actually sounds interesting. I would love it if they made something with a renaissance Italy theme, with a bunch of wealthy families beating eachother up for dominance.
As far as Ts3 goes, pets is way overdue, and weather needs to be added soon to make the game ,feel complete. Yes, EA are jerks, but at least they’re jerks who make enjoying games. That is, as long as they work… I’ve thankfully been lucky for the most part.
great news about pets. i am kind of afraid to get my hopes up for the quality though, seeing as how bare bones and minimal the other ep’s have been for sims 3, most especially generations. pets is always my favorite ep of any sims line. i just hope they don’t mess it up and leave out half of what should be included. but still great news – can’t wait for pets. and it’s cool that medieval will have ep’s. i got bored with the game within the first week and already gave it away. i would re-purchase if the ep’s are really going to flesh out medieval – and not just give new kingdom locations (ala new settings) – but really need for more interactions and features for the sims in medieval.
yeah medieval sucks….
medieval sucks
LizJ – Extremely limited playable demos running on alpha clients for fan events/press gatherings are a far cry from a fully playable game and it’s very unlikely GW2 will see the light of day this side of Christmas.
ArenaNet has yet to announce a date, except to say “it’ll be ready when it’s ready”, and NCSoft, the publisher has yet to say anything officially either. Other than the rumours circulating around the various GW fansites about closed beta and that conference call, there is really nothing concrete at all.
we will probably get the official announcement of “unleashed” at Gamescom in August. Fingers crossed!
EA has done it before though. I remember Alice: Madness Returns being in the TBA stages for god knows how long, only to find out like 3-5 months ago that it was coming out in June.
