Town/Neighborhood
♦ There is not a new town for Generations. The town shown in photos and videos is Sunset Valley.
♦ There are 10 new community lots added to Generations.
♦ They have not added any new Rabbit Holes. (Still unknown if they have opened any existing ones)
♦ One of the new community lots added is a Playground complete with a Sandbox, Swing set, Seesaw, Playhouse Set, Spring-Rides, and a Treehouse(?)
Sims & CAS
♦ Body hair is a feature that has been added to CAS
Build Mode Features
♦ Spiral Staircases
♦ New type of Window
New Objects
♦ Usable Strollers to transport your toddlers. One per stroller. For more than one child, multiple strollers will have to be used with other sims pushing them.
♦ Bunk Beds and Loft Beds which can be used by Sims of all ages
♦ Treehouses
♦ New Playground equipment
♦ Sandbox
♦ Water Slide which can be used by all ages
♦ Video Camera
♦ Chemistry Set to make lots of new potions
♦ Sleeping bags
♦ Children’s toy boxes have been improved with costumes so kids can play dress up.
♦ Pink Limousines
♦ Costume chest

ok for the “water slide” he mentioned is the same “slip n’ slide” you saw in the video.
For the cops, they are not real cops that will fine you or something, they’re more like entertainers or dancer, like the cops we saw in the trailer.
And finally, there will be indeed some new hair styles and clothes, but no new specific details have been given nor any other CAS features.
I’m kinda happy with the strollers and they’re fine for me 😀

How creepy is it that I’m excited about Woohoo in the shower? It’s hard to keep variety up for couples, especially if they have celebrity status. I once got a rumor that my sim’s baby was out of wedlock.. even though she’d been married to her husband looong before she got pregnant. In the treehouse is kind of creepy though. I’m intrigued by the social status thing. Is that just for pranking or more complex? Does it tie into being Prom King/Queen?

Awesome!! But I’m a little confused on a few things. First, you say “water slide”, but it’s the one on the ground, slip n’ slide right, not in a pool? Second, what do you mean by when the cops show up to a party, that they’re not real cops and just add to the parties atmosphere? And finally, there’s no new CAS items other then body hair? No new clothes or hair styles? Oh and I’m really disappointed that there is not a stroller for twins or triplets! I mean, is it really that hard to add that on EA?! Lol

In Sims-3.net’s Generations article (not the interview) the cops that show up are sometimes there to “add” to the party. Remember the 1st leaked trailer? How the cops were dancing? 😛
There will be new CAS items im sure.. this is just a list of everything we know as of now.

But, no new death in this expansion pack?(sry, i’m a neurotic)
What I find creepy is sims kids being rewarded for nefarious behavior, sounds too much like bullying. Oh, and being able to blackmail other sims with secret recordings. if EA is going to add body hair, why not nipples and genitalia? Why are they being so hypocritical?
… I think body hair is a lot different than genitalia. I don’t want to have to explain that to my aunt if I let my cousins play with the game.
I guess there are a lot of ways to look at different things.

i posted on the sims 3 thing wall on facebook . and i said that the adults should have the “strict parenting” trait , so they can like ground their children and stufff . but instead they made the trait the “nuturing” trait . lol i’m so happy their making the game more realistic and plus .. they have the rebellious trait so like the teenagers can like pull pranks (: can’t wait for may 31st because imm gonna play and play like everyday of the summer and never get tired of it 😀
