At the end of the day, The Sims Medieval is a rather refreshing change of pace. It takes parts of what people enjoy most about The Sims and infuses it with a blend of RPG style and classic Sims humor. Unfortunately, many of the series staples are lost and they drag the game as a whole down a little. I don’t know if it’ll fully please series die-hards, but newcomers might find a lot to enjoy about running their own kingdom. I know I certainly did.
