This is going to take a lot longer then expected. For the most part, the remaining pages left to re-design/publish are the patches and programs sections for each game. I’m currently working on the patches/programs for The Sims 3. At this time, you can now visit the new Official Tools page which now hosts the Create-A-World and Create-A-Pattern tools as well as the Sims 3 Ambitions patches section. I’ll be working little by little getting more sections back online, but there is no way I can get it all done by this weekend. I suppose I can get everything back up for The Sims 3 series, but the other games will be offline for a bit longer.
Oh – one important note I’d like to mention. I spruced up the site the other day with a toolbar from Wibiya. With the toolbar, you can view the latest on our Facebook, Twitter and YouTube pages as well as view the latest posts, subscribe to our RSS, see how many are browsing the site, translate a page to many languages and even includes a small chatroom. Please drop by and say hello and please don’t abuse it. More than likely you won’t catch anyone on it…but just leave a message and I or another person will try to respond when we get a chance to see it 😀
Anyhow, I have a few new articles to cover and it’s back to work re-editing the pages!
Everything is good looking but somehow the site is lagging now for me. I think it’s because of the toolbar. My computer is pretty powerful and I have never had such problems before.
I hope this problem will be fixed in the future.
I noticed that too, Ludogego. It seems to lag on the pages with the news. I’ll play around with it to see what it is on the toolbar that is causing it to lag.
Ludogego – if you test it, I think some of the slowdown may have to do with the latest IGN video of MySims SkyHeroes. Try selecting a category section in the sidebar.
ludogego, experiment with the site again and let me know if anything improved 🙂
