Just received word from Arthur over at Exhibit Sims that The Sims Team has re-designed the look of our Sims 3 ‘MyPages’ as well as adding a new feature to let us customize the look (without paying SimPoints) to our liking. Out of the new things it features, we can upload our own background images, change the colors, font, links, colors of modules and a few other odds and ends. Here’s how you can get to the new feature, courtesy of Exhibit Sims:
So you might be asking how can I customize my page?
Well it’s actually quite simple!
- All you need to visit your profile on TheSims3.com.
- Then on your profile just below your avatar look for the Edit Profile link.
- Once you find that, click on it and it will load a page giving you some options to fill in information about yourself, but if you look to the right of that you’ll see some new options.
- These are the options to customize your page colors and background image, and when uploading a background image, make sure it doesn’t exceed 256 KB in size or it won’t work.
- For colors you can just click on the little square next to it to change the color, or if you know the number of the color (often called HEX code) you can use that as well!
Here are a few screenshots as well – go to your MyPage on the official Sims 3 site to begin customizing.
