My copy was just delivered by UPS!!!! I have it and can’t wait to play it. I’m at work now so I can’t install and play it yet but they are letting us leave early today so I’ll be playing in a little over 3 hours from now!! WOOT!
For those who are still waiting for their game to come, you can go to http://www.ups.com, put the tracking number, and it will tell you info on when the game is coming, it’s status, the process it is going through, the time, etc. So far, my game’s status says “On Time.” Don’t know what that means, but I hope it comes soon. 😀 Hope this helps.

Could you (if you are allowed), give us any information about the monster making machine thing that you reported a few days ago and what it actually does? Like does it actually produce 3 monsters and what is the third if you can say?
I just have my hopes up about this and I don’t want to be more disappointed if it is not in the game when I get it. 🙁

It’s the monster maker lifetime reward to create 3 monsters. What are the 3 monsters and is there a new one do you know? I’m thinking mummy, simbot and dunno about the other.
Supposedly it’s the Frankensim for the third monster. It shows up in the GameplayData.package and in the prima guide. Don’t think anyone has pictures of it though. =/

I read a bit more about the 3rd monster being Frakensim after but others thought it might be another name for the simbot… Hmmm? Guess will just have to wait and see.
I wonder though if it is anything to do with the science career if it is something other than the robot? Frankenstein was a scientist after all.
Heh, I was looking at your countdown thinking that reflected the time that the game was expected in the US. The counter ended for me several hours ago. I guess because I live in NZ, which is in the future, and that counter aligns with people’s timezone?

However when she went to the link it was dead but that might be because the isn’t officially released until June 1st.
I looked all over the EAStore page and couldn’t find this info, and the official forum has been down for forever, so I’ll ask this here. At what time will the download link be available for digital downloads? I think it’s usually around noon or 1PM, but I couldn’t find the info on the Ambitions page at the EAStore. Anyone know for sure?
Is Sims3 Ambitions going to be available on Direct 2 Drive? That’s where I got Sims3 and World Adventures, I’d like to keep getting them from the same place.
Hey guys, I was just wondering. Anyone that has the game is it possible if you could tell me if the overheating graphics card bug has been fixed? By that I mean have they finally incorporated v-sync so in order keep the fps low and to stop the game from overheating high end graphics cards? I believe to check your fps you need to type in “fps on” into the cheat console.
And also, anyone running with MATY’s 3booter and fps limiter, could you possibly check if it still works with this expansion?

I think they have done something to it because I get ≈180 FPS now instead of the ≈700 FPS I had before. But it’s still way too high for this game!

Frankensim is another name of the Sim Bot, according the the GameplayData.package. We’ve just heard that on MTS.
