The Sims 3 Fast Lane Stuff (Practically Confirmed)

BeyondSims BeyondSims Author

While there are currently no details, this stuff pack has been on 2 online retail sites and it has now appeared on the EA Store.  This practically confirms the existence of this SP.  Thanks to Wolfgurl685 for pointing this out.

This is very interesting. I guess we’ll all have to wait what it is about. Though, looks very promising. I wonder when we’ll get more info. Hmmm..

I wonder what this stuff pack is all about… I still haven’t got HELS so, I don’t know if stuff packs are worth their prices…

I’m pretty interested to know what this is about. I mean sure, Fast Lane suggests cars, but they couldn’t do a whole pack with just cars could they? Even if it were cars and car-themed rooms, I’d still think that would be a bit too particular. Most have a general theme, but we’ve never had a stuff pack that was literally based on one particular item, apart from say IKEA and H&M, but that’s a bit different IMO.

HELS definitely wasn’t worth even three quarters of its price tag, but still considerably more affordable than the Store.

Fast Lane doesn’t JUST suggest cars, it may also suggest businessmen and women, riches, the high life: living life in the fast lane.

Wow what a big disappointment. I was hoping for the Beach Party Stuff. The only reason I would buy this pack would be if it would fix the car animations. Instead of just the car disappearing I would like sims to be able to open the doors and be able to make straight/curved driveways. I would also like  to see romantic interactions in the car along with woohooing and trying for babies. It would also be interesting if there were stoplights that could be interacted with. Such as running a red light or speeding tickets. It would take the game to another level if there were car crashes.

Hey E, there’s no need to insult SimsFreak711. I think he has a good point. I’d most certainly like to see sims getting in their cars too instead of disappearing. Plus woohooing in there too hehe. Dunno about the traffic lights tho… I want Seasons! Just so there could be snoboarding, ice skating and stuff. Also sims should be able to swim at the beach!

ya this stuff pack hopefully has car stuff and lets the sims  open the car doors instead of them just disapearing in them. and maybe a new job could be a mechanic (for cars) and like ambitions, this job could be playable. and u should be able to woohoo in the cars and have car crashes. and they should make an airport and a pilot could be a job. and boats to ride in the water so a sailor or fisherman or something could be a job. wait.. this should be an expansion pack call the sims 3 road rage. hopefully this stuff pack doesnt have cars then lol

Well, actually there already are such things as traffic lights and straight/curved driveways in the sims 3. Traffic lights cannot be interacted with, but if you want one, just turn on the cheat ‘buydebug on’, and you will be able to place one.

If you want a curved driveway, you just have to place the car parking space where you want it, perhaps on a 45 degree angle, then put tarmac terrain paint to make the driveway.

It would be really nice to see sims actually getting out of their cars though and being able to interact with them, such as woohoo or give them a car wash to get ‘the new car smell’ moodlet.

What I do agree to seeing though is the aspect of boats. That pier on the beach in Sunset Valley is looking like it needs a repair, and boats would be the perfect way to get that going.

Well… stuff packs have only ever had new clothes and items. I think that if they are ever going to make it possible for us to have sims on boats and jet skis (Which sounds bloody awesome may I add) or any adaptations to the actual game play; it will be in an expansion pack.

I think that EA spend too much time thinking of new things instead of listening to what the customer wants. I find its all really repetitive with the new expansion packs unlike sims 1 and 2. Ambitions was a disappointment to me… But I did like the motorbikes being added in 😀
