If your still with The Sims 2 series – or want to go back and enjoy the the sequel to the classic series, then you should now start to see The Sims 2 Fun with Pets Collection at your local electronics store. I picked up this gem earlier at Best Buy for $20. As you can tell from the name (and the screens below), it contains The Sims 2 Pets expansion and both The Sims 2 Family Fun and The Sims 2 Mansion & Garden Stuff packs.
Installing the games from 1 CD is better than 3! However it worries me…they are just about out of Stuff Packs, so will they start to bundle expansions?
why would you buy this? don’t you already have sims 2 and pets and family fun stuff? why would you buy this too?
A number of reasons 🙂 I’m a collector – I try to collect all and every Sim game available. I’m currently waiting on 4 old classic Sim games to arrive from Ebay. Another reason – I constantly have to reinstall/install them on machines. Going from…I think 23 CDs down to 10 or so (and hopefully less) is worth my time in switching and waiting. Third reason is that I run a fansite, I just have to 😛

Almost everyone has a hobby, and collecting anything specifically is one of them. I have Sims 1, 2 and 3, but do not have all expansions for each of them, though. I also am glad to get other Sims merchandise beside the expansions if I can get them anytime. Will be looking forward to the pictures of your collection.

I used to use Custom Content in the past, but seeing how there are so many issues/conflict with custom content and EA, I opted to stick with a clean install.
I have all the mac games but I’ve been buying all these multi-pack (?) versions, saving them for when I get a pc. I’m curious too as to how the rest of them will be grouped. I wonder if EA might bundle all the store exclusives onto one of them? I’m SO impatient. Gimme!
