After 2 months, my Stormtrooper is now fully assembled (still have tons of tweaking to do of course)! Pics have been added to flickr (beware, huge nerd below!). As you can see, there are a couple of things that need to be adjusted…The leg pieces need foam to line up properly and the underarmour needs to be fitted better (to large of a size, hoping it’ll shrink). Not to mention I need to find a new headset microphone. Once I correct these, I should be ready for employment on the Death Star. Hopefully nobody knows of the small minor defect within the ship… Anyways, prepare to LOL and scream in horror!
Dude, that is AWESOME! May I ask how much you have spent on it so far? Do Master Chief next!
Thanks 😀 As for the total…lemme see… The kit was $475, Underarmour was $80 for shirt and pants, boots cost $80 as well, the Gun blaster costed $20, the kit for the gun costed $30. Then you have misc. supplies like the crate to carry it around and velcro, straps, belt, suspenders, etc. I’d say near $700.
As for Master Chief, would be cool but I don’t have an Xbox to play Halo with, so I’m not really familiar with the character
It looks, to my untrained eye, very authentic! Ok, just so you know, I don’t think it’s nerdy at all lol As a child, my entire bedroom was Star Wars, lol
Over here in Australia, I saw a Darth Vadar costume going for $1500.
Awesome, Jud. But are you sure you want to be stationed on the Death Star? Isn’t that suicidal? 😉
I’ll be hiding out in the escape pod 😛
I’ll assume one of the glowing dots during the Death Star explosion scene is your pod darting by.
So that’s wut they look like without their helmets
You’re not nerdy at all. You’re very cute!
