Sunday night, the weekend is about to be wrapped up!  What a weekend it has been – had to load hay from a field, injured mules, and completed my Stormtrooper costume (pics soon)!  Finally settling down to get things in order.  First off, the poll.  206 of the site’s readers voted for this weeks question “Do you still think your Sims should still be able to ‘woohoo’ the Grim Reaper?”  82% (168) wish the feature would be added back while 18% (38) are glad it has been solved.  While technically I don’t think EA will put the ability back in, I’m sure there is a mod for it somewhere so you can enjoy your freakish evil little babies 😛

This week, I want to ask about the game’s many patches.  One of the site’s readers, Thomas, had issues with his game and asked if I can help.  Considering I’m about as useful as a pocket on a t-shirt, I didn’t think I would be of much assistance.  After updating his graphic drivers and installing the latest patch, he lost the data of his favorite Sim family that he’s been playing since the release.  Very irritated (and I can’t blame him), I suggested him to go into the Saves folder and restore the backup.  To his surprise, his Sim is now back in action – minus a few lost days – with his game running properly (or I hope so)!

I’m sure Thomas isn’t the only one – I’ve seen the Sims 3 forum after a patch release, and it’s full of new errors and problems.  I’d like to ask the readers if they’ve had any issues with the new patch.  So get to it and vote now! 🙂
