Have you pre-orded TS3 yet? I’m still debating whether I should, or just grab it the day it comes out (I’m actually hoping I can get it for free as a birthday gift 🙂 but who knows!).
Well, EA has decided to include more incentives for you to pre-order the game. With The Sims 3, you can now receive a customized pre-order box, plumbob sticker set, redemption code for one free downloadable music track and a double sided concert style poster of the band or recording artist. The poster will include a photograph of the band on one side and on the reverse side, the band as Sims!
The following tracks are:
- Ghosts (Ladytron) – Target exclusive
- I love LA (Young Dre The Truth) – GameStop exclusive
- Revolution (Bang Camaro) – Best Buy exclusive
- The Other Side (Dexter Freebish) – Walmart exclusive
- True Stories (Data Rock) – EA Store

Looks like I will be getting the “I love LA (Young Dre The Truth)” from GameStop. I pre-ordered my game back in ’08.
Yeah, I saw that. I was gonna wait till it came out in stores but it looks like they’re really trying to get folks to pre-order their games with bribery/free goodies that come included. If you order with EA Games you get a poster and stuff. If you order with walmart (which I did) you get a usb plug-in lava lamp. Never heard of it before, and it’s probably tiny but I figured what the heck?
