Yesterday, Caryl Shaw had the honor of receiving an award for Maxis’ hit computer game, Spore, from the Guinness Book of World Records. At this time, I cannot find the details of the actual award, but there is a video of it on YouTube. Check out the 25 second mark.
In other Guinness Book of World Record news, the 2009 Gamer’s Edition should be in bookstores now! In the newest edition, you can find a few facts from the Sims series, with the original ‘The Sims’ game being the best selling PC game of all time with 16 million sales worldwide since its launch in 2000. Also the most viewed Sims movie is the ‘Male Restroom Etiquette’ by Zarathustra Studios
