Spore ads revealed

I was always curious who was behind the “Inner Feelings from Outer Space” videos of the various Spore creatures.  I assumed it was just a few Maxis employees having fun.  Turns out, though, it’s not the case!  Space Oddity has discovered the true people behind the ads – both videos and posters – Wieden+Kennedy Studios.

You can visit their site to check out all of the ads they created – Spore Ads 1 and Spore Ads 2.  I got a huge kick out of the fact that some of the ads even led to thefts at the bus stations.  Of course, it’s illegal – that’s not the funny part; it’s the idea that I could probably see myself trying to take down a poster 😛
