Please forgive me if I type any wrong information in this post. I just found out what a QR code is, so I fully don’t understand the concept yet.
EA has distributed several Spore posters around Munich, Cologne and Hamburg. Users who pass by can take a snapshot with their phones and if their phone is capable of such a feature, will be redirected to the EA mobile site where you can download a voucher (5 euros off) on Spore.
Attached below is the poster as well as the QR code in case you want to take a picture yourself. While many of you might already be familiar with this concept, to me it’s something new and it blows my mind 😀

QR codes are a 2d barcode. Using your mobile phone and QR code software you can ‘snap a photo’ of the code on your cell phone which will implement ‘a qr function’.
