There is still life in SimCity Societies after all

Many of you declared SimCity Societies to be a bust and wished EA never tarnished the SimCity name.  Can’t say that I blame you, as I could see your point.  However, I still had a fun time with the game and I’m sticking with it.

It seems that there is still life with the game after all, especially in the classroom.  Random developers came up with an idea to turn Societies into a “green edition”.  Dubbed “Green City”, the game is targeted to those in 6th – 12th grade.  Following a web tutorial that can be found over at Alternative Energy, players can learn how to build using around 500 objects a “green” city.  They will have to monitor the energy use from the city, the graph for growth and even establish goals as they take their city to the top!.
