If Digital Download is your thing, then you’ll be pleased to know that you will be able to download Spore. However, you’ll only be able to download 99% and the 1% will finish the day Spore is released. It is estimated that it will take 30-60 minutes to finish that 1%, install it and then boot it up (time for the whole process is determined by your connection speed and the server). You should be one of the first people who will be able to play Spore before it hits the shelves. Oh, and Mac users…sorry but you are left in the dust until the actual release date.
As I hate digital downloads, I guess I’ll have to wait with the rest of you guys. Thanks to IGN for the heads up!
