Connecting various Spore games together

There’s no universal connection of all “Spore” games yet, but the creators’ intention is for every version of “Spore” to access and use the content from the same, single Sporepedia. That isn’t happening with the first wave of “Spore” spin-offs, albeit the iPhone version could be patched to include such functionality.

I’d love to see this happen, all of the versions using the same Sporepedia, would make an interesting concept.  However, with what they stated (“not happening with the first wave of Spore spin-offs“), it seems that we are going to get more Spore versions than what was planned.  As long as they don’t decline in quality, I’d be interested in seeing what they are.
