Alright, now we are getting somewhere 🙂 EA has heard our outcries against the 10 day validation and has removed it for offline play! Congratulations, guys for joining in the fight. Why we didn’t get it removed entirely, we will no longer have to worry about our games to cease working.
EA released a statement saying that Spore’s will now allow for offline play and will only requiring validation on a patch or game content update.Â
Q: If the game isn’t going to require an authentication every 10 days, will it ever require re-authentication?
A: Only if the player chooses to download new game content.

this is great but what about the Sims 3, I heard you can only re-install it 5 times and it has to be on the same computer, which would mean the game would be useless after 5, and if you had to buy a new computer, and I heard that you also must authenticate it at least one time, when you do install it and also every time you re-install it with the 5 time limit, before you can play it, that’s still not fair, please tell me that its not true, because I don’t know if I would buy it if it is, I’ve also heard that if you have dial up Internet that its too slow for authenticating the game off the Sims 3 site, is this true, because I have dial up as do many others, please tell me these things are wrong.
