The Sims 4 Set to Remove Gender Restrictions in CAS

I’ve just finished exams at University, and what better way to get back into posting news than to announce that The Sims 4 will be removing gender restrictions in Create A Sim, according to Polygon! No longer are clothing items gender-specific, but now either gender can wear the same clothing and accessories.

The Sims is made by a diverse team for a diverse audience, and it’s really important to us that players are able to be creative and express themselves through our games

We want to make sure players can create characters they can identify with or relate to through powerful tools that give them influence over a Sim’s gender, age, ethnicity, body type and more.

This makes over 700 items available to both genders, which is extremely exciting!
