16 years ago today Will Wright’s brainchild, The Sims, was released onto the PC. Little did Will, Maxis, or EA know how well it would do. The Sims went on to become the #1 PC game franchise of all time and has spawned three sequels, several spin-offs and thousands of hours of fun.
As we celebrate The Sims today, we hope you enjoy this video we created for the occasion. Our nostalgic video takes you on a tour throughout all of The Sims games and looks ahead into the future.
The Sims has changed my life. More than just a game, it has allowed me to become part of a fantastic community, meet people from all over the world and also host my own event with Rachybop – Simmers Meetup.
