The Sims 4 is now available to pre-order on Origin. The game has two versions available which consists of the Limited Edition and the Digital Deluxe.
The Limited Edition comes with the Life of the Party digital content, and is the only version available as a physical copy. The digital deluxe comes with the same content along with the Up All Night digital content, digital soundtrack and Origin exclusive content.
I have personally ordered The Sims 4 Limited Edition as I prefer having a physical copy of my games.
WHY IS IT NOT FOR MAC
£55 !!!!!!!!!!! What a rip off!! Anybody who pays that is a fool and EA will be laughing at them all the way to the bank!
IF I decide to ever buy it then I’ll wait until it is down to twenty something pounds and the first EP is out!
@Malik
I am not sure, hopefully a YibSim will ask that so we can find out. Maybe they’re working on a NATIVE port instead of it running under Cider?
How can they charge this much? That’s shocking its just getting worse! If the expansion packs cost over £25 I will not be purchasing them! I was looking forward to The Sims 4 until I saw this! Grr can’t believe I have to shell out another £50, I paid that for SimCity and haven’t played it in months!
The Sims 3 was £39.99 at launch… with inflation & VAT since then £44.99 sounds about right.
sorry, EA, but with this price i will download it with torrent! so high price! how much we have to paid to the sims 7? 1000 dollars? stop this, EA!!!!!
why is there no mac download and the price, i think it is fair. but however i think there should be a mac virson to download/pre order. don’t u

great theres no mac version how the **** am i suppost to play all i have is macs and i have been a simmer since the beginning does anyone know anyway i can contact ea and voice my opinion come on if we all demand a mac versions we have a greater chance in getting one whos with me.
Give them time with the Mac version guys. The mac version for Sims 3 was pretty poor, so hopefully this means we’ll get a native port – even if it means waiting a little longer – it’ll be best in the long run.
I think that is a load of carp that they ask so much just for a game
