The Sims 3 Takes Note Of World Water Day

Just cruisin’ around on my Facebook Feed, and what do I see? The Sims 3 updated with a post on World Water Day (which is today). I thought that was really good of them, and a first as far as I remember.

The United Nations’, World Water Day marked on March 22 every year since 1993, draws attention to the scary fact that water is a “fragile, finite resource” — and a basic human necessity.

For the record, if you were interested, yesterday (March 21) is known as World Forestry Day, while tomorrow is the day in which you unplug for Earth Hour (between 8:30pm-9:30pm your local time). It’s like the super-trifecta of green days.
