For today only you can catch a huge anniversary sale on Origin for the Sims 3 digital Expansions and Stuff Packs! If you have a few holes in your collection, now may be a good time to patch them up!
From The Sims 3 Facebook Page:
On top of The Sims 3 Anniversary Sale happening right now on Origin, weโre also celebrating the launch of Origin for Mac. As of Friday, February 8th, Origin will be selling over 40+ Mac products, including most of The Sims 3 games and will be offering dual-platform play for The Sims 3 base game, expansion packs, and stuff packs. With dual-platform play, you can buy a game once and download it for both PC and Mac (if the game is available for both platforms) at no additional charge!
The “Dual Play” option is news to me, I must have been living under a rock (or sucked into my computer) for a couple days now, but it’s a neat feature of the new Origin for Mac that I hope will be of some use to players ๐

Note that on the Sims 3 Facebook page they’ve posted an image with the sale alert, however according to my origin client some of their 50% off deals are actually (and correctly) $10 ones.
Comment below if you’ve picked up some awesome deals today! I’m trying to decide if I should pick up Diesel and 70s, 80s, 90s myself…
I don’t trust EA enough to buy digital downloads from them…good offer though ๐
I might get The Sims 3 Pets and WA. Then I have all EPs so far. ^_^
Bleh. I want physical discs. Pass.
I don’t think I could play without WA anymore, and it’s not even like I travel a lot… I just really like Nectar Making!
I think I may in fact be the only player in the world who prefers digital to physical! I really don’t have the space for a bunch of cases in my tiny one bedroom apartment. There are two of us in it, and one office run from the living room :p
