It looks like EA are preparing to offer the city sets from the SimCity Digital Deluxe separately, possibly through the SimCity Store, as box art for the DLC has been found online.
If you don’t want a digital version of the game and want the content, then this may be for you!

If only it had been an offline game, I would have already placed my order.
@Starrfoxx
Honestly, I insist you give this game a try and try to put the online part to one side. It’s a wonderful game, yes it’s a shame about the online feature, but Id hate people miss out on a wonderful SimCity game which clearly the developers care dearly about.
well i can see the price as $5 to $10
Spon1Player, I’ve played the demo and there is nothing to it. It’s as empty and as shallow as every other EA produced video game nowadays, including the Sims. It’s only about making money to these people, and forcing features nobody actually wants (Facebook integration for Sims? Leaderboards for Simcity? Separate cities in a region rather than having one realistic city? Always online gameplay?)
@WindWineKiwi8
I personally don’t feel the beta/demo did this game justice. They’re also working on making map sizes bigger too. 🙂
I had tried the beta and wasn’t overly impressed. It didn’t suck me into it like SC4 did. The game is okay, and I want to give it a chance. Right now, I’m going to sit back and see how it develops then make a decision. I’ll be looking for the Let’s Play videos once the game comes out too.
simcity beta didnt impress people because the beta was limited
