Who’s ready for some pretty awesome deals? Origin has just started their big Year End Sale, which includes up to 50% off 100s of games. While some of you may groan about another random selection of games you probably don’t want, it’s a good mix this time in my opinion. Coolest part…? Um, that would be this:

Sorry, still not interested in buying an always-online game.
I really hope they don’t repeat this decision with Sims4. But if they do I guess I’ll save a lot of money.
I’m going to assume that using the code 5 times would be on 5 different EA products. I can’t even think of what other EA products I would get, except maybe Mass Effect 2 and 3. But then, I could get them cheaper through Amazon so it’s not much of a savings, especially since shipping may or may not be free with EA.
And the Digital Deluxe Edition of SimCity is $80! That seems like an awful amount of money for a game. A game that we are only seeing the best images from. Remember how Spore was a much anticipated game, and then everyone found out how disappointing and how different it was compared to what we were led to believe. And Spore was done by Maxis too WITH Will Wright!
As much as I wish I had money, I still don’t think I can justify buying this game. I think my money is better invested in Sims 3: University. I believe Sims 3 plus University would give you more bang for your buck, it won’t be online, and you your game won’t be junk if the servers are taken down.
