A great review as per usual. I think I pretty much agree with everything he had to say… Seasons is probably one of my favourite EPs along with Pets. I also, like LGR, wish it had just gone that little bit further, I would have liked to see:
Dogs able to swim in the sea, etc.
A few more gardening objects for the spring & summer seasons.
Aliens to be able to be created in CAS.
Water pistols for playing games/pranks with.
Obviously it looks like EA has decided to release the gardening items on the store and stick us for more money (nice try but I’ll look elsewhere thank you EA).
Overall I would give Seasons an 8.5 out of 10
Seasons is by the far the best. You couldn’t go wrong with the base game, Pets, and Seasons for a decent life simulator. (The others are icing on the cake, but I think those 3 are the essential ones).
Figures that EA would pull all the holiday objects off the store. You know they are planning to rape people for more money. Probably with some new exclusive content that you have to buy the whole set in order to get, and lucky for those of you who already had some of the old holiday items is that you get it all over again!
And the Greenhouse? Poorly executed. I don’t believe that it is coincidence that a separate team created this and just happened to have it ready for release around Seasons. That’s why it’s broken and doesn’t protect your plants from outside weather, right?
I’m just waiting for them to release a Vacation EP with only one destination to go to. But wait! You can BUY three more vacation destinations from our store!
