That was interesting. Didn’t knew about any of this protection happening today, I thought it was only DRM. Great job, LGR!
I remember some of those old methods such as the floppy, code wheels, and manual look-ups. Compared to the crap they do now, I would prefer a basic serial code and something to look up in the manual.
Pirates are going to crack any DRM no matter what. Why? Because they love the challenge. So don’t feed the monster, and don’t make it difficult for your honest customers.
