Thanks to Stuart Storey for the tip!

Oh and you gotta start a new game for it to take effect. Bummer eh? Uninstall mods too until they are updated.

Shame it doesn’t fix the mailbox crash and the ingame wall crash. Also still a lot of showtime bugs are not fixed the wedding gifts and the photobooth come to mind.

You can save your current household(s) to the bin and continue their lives in a new game. Same thing with lots you’ve created/modified after installing SN.

I was downloading this patch on my Mac and noticed something interesting:

Notice the four extra icons on the bottom. I’ve got all expansion and stuff packs to date. The four icons disappeared after the update was complete. Could those be a clue that there are only four expansion/stuff packs left for Sims 3?
    Personally, I’m kinda ready for 4. : )

Zombies are not part of the population controls.
Also, the patch works. Stupid Zombies don’t show up on my home lot anymore, especially when there’s not supposed to be a full moon. woohoo! 😀

baaahaha 🙁 i really like zombies ALL the time…how else can you play a great zombie apocalypse game?! can someone intelligent come up with a 24/7 zombie mod already… x

If you wanna fix your current save-game, just use Twallan’s Overwatch, It can clear up the zombie-spawn-alarm, so you don’t need to start a new game for this fix to take effect.

i installed this patch and now i get the application not responding error when i attempt to launch the game. any fixes that don’t include uninstalling?

Hmm, never had the zombie problem myself. Glad the patch works without breaking anything else. Also, I really am starting to wonder if that one theory about 13 more games is more plausable…Something about the bar across the bottom.
