I could care less About seasons. I mean most of what was in seasons was included in the base game or in EP plus it will lag my game, so unless we get much more than weather I’m not getting it, ever
Yeah the only thing I liked about Sims 2 seasons, was fishing, gardening and plan sims. The weather made my game lag and after a while the rain and snow was annoying. This would be a great time to add University.
But onto the fun part. What creature, if any, do you think will be introduced.
If the Seasons EP had come out sooner than I would have bought it in a heart beat. With the TS3 coming to an end and the game starting to feel old and a bit boring to me I don’t think I will be buying anymore EPs. :-/

I’m almost positive that we will get diving boards in Seasons. I can’t wait. The 2 EPs that I want the most are 2 months apart. Can’t ask for a bigger Sim miracle than that.
From the survey before, it was said that it was Aliens that will have a comeback in the Seasons EP. I don’t know if it’ll be done though.

I’m guessing that the close release dates is a sign that EA knows the end is near for TS3, so they will try to milk it for all its worth before the fanbase gets bored and moves on.
This isn’t to say that they won’t be good games; I’m sure that EA has been working on weather and magic programming since the start of TS3, but I do hope that Seasons is a farming pack. At least Supernatural includes innovative ideas and not just a rehash of a previous EP.
I kinds feel the way Corey does, if it’s just weather in a box? Now if they coupled it with University or Farming or Real Vacations, I’d be more interested.
And from what I’ve read on here and Sims Vip, the french translations seem to be indicative of Either luxury living or proper vacation, so we’ll have to wait and see.
I’d still be more interested if it was school/farming related though. *Shrugs* Wait and see. We’ll probably hear more about it next month or after.

I loved seasons in TS2 and I’ll love the concept again in TS3 but I might not love the actual game play. I’m worried about the specs jumping like they did with TS2.
The “sources” for the November release date are just… it doesn’t feel legit to me. I am 100% sure seasons/weather is coming but not 2 months apart from supernatural. Why would EA jeopardize sales on supernatural for their biggest seller, their wild card aka seasons? Doesn’t sound like them and is just simply not a smart business move.
Although I voted take my money EA because that is how I feel also would like to cast a unofficial vote for this: Give us University, real vacations or an OFB remake! DO IT NOW EA!
Just out of curiosity, I re-bought Sims 2 Seasons, it wasn’t near as cool as I remember…Course the only thing I liked about seasons was Gardening and Greenhouses. I really hope they add something more to it if it’s accurate.
Thinking back, and wasn’t it a French site that said we’d be getting Master Suite in Jan and KPST in April? They got lost in Translation, so this too may be a misinterpretation as well and off by a couple months.
The main thing I remember about the Seasons surveys is that the creature will be Aliens and that besides several activities from TS2 Seasons returning, there will be lots of new ones. We’ll have to wait and see. Hopefully we’ll get the announcement and trailer in August either by itself or during Gamescom.
