Hungarian Retailer Uberkonzol has listed The Sims 3: Seasons. There will be 3 versions: Seasons, Seasons LE and Sims 3 + Seasons.
So, what do y’all think? Personally, I think it’s too soon after Supernatural. That and if true, I hope that one survey is right and we get Aliens as the creature. PlantSims can burn! Literately! XD
As much as I’d like that to be true, I really don’t think they’d release 2 EPs that close together. Since I have zero interest in Supernatural, it would definitely be nice, but I have a feeling I’ll be waiting until at least next year before I buy a new EP for TS3.
Couldn’t they pick a different name? It really bugged me The Sims 3 Pets had the same name as The Sims 2 expansion.
They knew not everyone would be happy with this magic stuff, so they probably planned another ep to be released asap, just like katy perry stuff with Diesel
The original idea was for weather to be packaged along with Late Night, but this was withdrawn at the last minute. I really want Seasons. Apart from Diesel Stuff, I’ll be buying no more Sims EP/SPs (unless they’re brill) until then.
I guess they are in a hurry to release The Sims 4 in 2013 ~ 2014.
I’d rather they didn’t release it right away, not just to tease the whining and complaining simmers who act like two year olds but also because I want heart in it, not just dead lines to be met.

And I also hope that it’s so bugged and crappy and graphics are so high you have to update your graphics card.

Interesting:) I am going to get Supernatural and if Seasons actually is coming out in fall as well. I am going to get it as well. Sounds and looks like Seasons is the final expansion. We’ll see.
Would be nice to have two EPs in a row… considering the horror of the past two SPs… I wouldn’t mind this being the order until the TS3 era ends either… 😛
It’s obvious the MIA Gurus secret project is Seasons, and they haven’t worked on a game since Pets.That and the console team did Showtime. If they finish it on time, the might do it like that or push it back to December. That would leave EP 9 and 10 for 2013 with The Sims 4 announced at E3 or Gamescom 2013 and released in 2014. Which is also the 10th anniversary of The Sims 2.
Didnt someone said that an EP just had 2 months of production or something?
I believe they have been working on Seasons since the release of Sims 3. Wasnt it gonna be release with it but they didnt?

Everyone remember after last weeks sims 3 site update that our sims in our studio had a new catagory outerwear? It was removed in short order but I think EA was testing it.
I’m hoping this is true because I was wanting seasons to be ep 7 but if it’s coming out in November I’ll be happy.
The earilier the better and I hope next years eps will be the vacation and university ones. I’d love to see the vacation one in the spring to go with seasons.
I feel like they’re about done with the sims 3 and like Black Scorpian said they will most likely announce Sims 4 next year at E3 and Gamescom.

Eh…even if they could, I’m not sure EA would release two EPs so close together. With Sweet Treats and Diesel it made sense since they’re only stuff packs and Sweet Treats was marketed as a special sort of pack. The only way this might be believable is because of Supernatural having a very niche appeal. I’ll wait until more retailers start listing this (but yeah, another repeat name? Really?). If it’s really coming that soon though, I’ll definitely get excited.

I have paid over $500 U.S. for sims 3 stuff. I am really wanting something different than a rehash of the sims 2 games…..I have to admit I truely hated seasons in sims 2

I have to agree with alot of simmer who think they’ve been working the kinks out of this for a while now, and they finally have a releasable product that should meet standards. That and I swear I just said something somewhere about it being a back to back release for SN and Seasons…Creepy…
Seasons may up the requirments. I hope my GT 120 Nvidea can handle it. It handles pets pretty good and that’s with settings on high.

It says the 9th of Nov, so that is usually the International Release Date, so the 6th for US, which is a Tuesday. Sooo, this may be legit after all.
Glad I didn’t buy all the other things this year, so I may have money saved up for Sn and Seasons.

I remember being really skeptical about sims 3, hating the idea of buying everything all over again, so…I may just take a pass at sims 4, unless it gets outstanding reviews from users (Which sims 3 did also when it first came out….Maybe wait a year or two then invest.)
I do hope this is actual, although I really cannot afford back to back releases that close to X-mas.

Why not aliens AND PLantSims
It kind of terrifies me that they might release two EP’s in such quick succession. Showtime was half-baked at the most, and it went through the same time lapse as is routine for EP’s. If they’re doing Seasons, I want it to be as good as possible with as much time as possible spent making it better and squishing bugs. I’m sick and tired of people whining about not having Seasons yet, but I don’t want EA to forgo a quality EP to shut them up.

Im glad seasons is going to be out soon but i still think there is still a lot missing from ts3 like a collage or open for biz. Also some new things i would enjoy is a farm type and a fair type… Even a zoo. Im just saying. I think it would be killer.
