I chose Generations because it was a great trailer that showed the lives of two sims. Also felt they did added a bit more things to the sims, too. But Nightlife really did got me excited! (Though, not enough sims in clubs.)
Supernatural looks AWESOME! Werewolves runs on four, zombies having an option to bite sims!!(Which in the trailer showed at least a zombie going to bite a sim.), and the Gypsy is kind of back. As long it has more content, then it will be a great addition to The Sims collection.

Generations for sure. I got a bit of frisson from that trailer. It was pretty fantastic.

I’m sure the fans are loving this newest trailer, but it just confirms to me that I am not missing anything by no longer buying SPs and EPs. The series has shifted and appears to almost exclusively cater to a teen female demographic.
Hopefully the next iteration of the Sims (4?) will reset the series to focus on game elements that have more universal appeal. In the meantime, I do appreciate SimsPrograms for their new coverage! Thanks guys!

To Robb: well it is aTeen rated game, and was originally based on the idea of a virtual interactive doll-house, soooo….. And Makin’ Magic was easily one of the favored EPs of the S1 era….sooo again… It in it’s most technical sense is right on target. and how are supernaturals teenaged girl-esqe? I’m curious, The shows Supernatural & Grimm aren’t geared towards teenage girls and they feature elements of the game. Star Wars wasn’t geared towards women, but it has female fans. Laurel K Hamilton’s books aren’t for teens, but they have these elements too….so I ask, how is this geared towards teen girls? It’s a narrow minded scope set there…if that”s what you see. But I digress, it’s your opinion.

So will we get a new trailer when they formally announce Supernatural or will it be the one shown yesterday? I’m hoping for a newer more indepth trailer.

This ep isn’t geared towards teenage girls. It’s geared toward hardcore sim fans who love the new lifestates and magic. I gurantee a lot of adults will buy this one and I’m one of them.

I actually feel like this will be the first EP in a while, that’s not trying to get teen girls through gimmicks. First thing I noticed in the trailer, was it didn’t have some crappy real life to Simlish music playing in the background. I am an 18 year old male, and am greatly looking forward to this pack!

I’m in agreement with the majority here – have been playing Sims since the very first one, and absolutely love new lifestates – I get quite bored playing ‘normal’ Sims; what that says about me I have no clue lololol, but I’m seriously looking forward to having more supernatural Sims running around and causing havoc in my towns for the ordinary folk, lolol…. I had a whole household of every lifestate in TS2 and cannot wait to recreate it now! Had tons of fun with those crazy guys 😀
Oh, I’m also not a teenaged girl 🙂
