Attempts to find a canonical chronology are doomed. It’s very clear that the Sims team only use an extremely loose, inconsistent chronology, and are mostly treating each project as stand-alone, with its own lore.
Considering all the games are actually linked with families, I am pretty sure they’re not stand alone games.

Are these towns we will be seeing in future eps?Some of them we already have but I’m talking about the new ones like Old Town,Magic Town,Twikki Island etc.

Bob and Betty Newbie are older than Mortimer and Bella, so Sunset Valley and Riverview are based around the same time.
And Twinbrook is, at least, 2 generations before Sunset Valley, Notzo is still a toddler.
