Sims.Mixei.Ru has been sent a screenshot of the SimCity Social loading screen. According to them and Kaskus.us, the game is currently in closed beta. Oh how I hope that I some how get into said closed beta.

OOooooh! This is sudden….! And somewhat reassuring!
My logic is that if this is the crappy social game with little actual depth and entirely focused on being ‘social’ – then the big SimCity itself will be mostly focused on having a good gameplay experience!

If this game flunks, then it will definitely have a negative effect for the 2013 mainstream release.
