Too bad I don’t speak German, but I still got a good idea what the game will be like bases on this video, and really liked all the cool new features they showed off.
Hm… A thought occurs. I notice the “Stage Props” Buy Mode category appears exactly where the “Pet objects” category currently is. So I wonder what happens when both Pets and Showtime are installed?
One of the US SimGuru’s will probably do an English dub of it. Just like Grant did with the Late Night one and Ryan did with the Generations one.

If you have both Pets and Showtime installed, you should find out. I should find out soon enough. I have Pets and I pre-ordered Showtime, and it shipped today.
