Yep, slacker is me. It’s been what, a month since the last poll update? Yeah, my bad 😛 Anyhow, let’s jump to the poll results.
Lunar Lakes – interested in the new alien town?
- Finally, sci-fi – a change of scenery! (52%, 563 Votes)
- It looks alright, but not of my interest. (23%, 252 Votes)
- Absolutely not (16%, 174 Votes)
- it looks pretty bland, so no. (9%, 94 Votes)
Total Voters: 1,093
Good to see a majority of the folks like it! I want to get it myself, but I don’t like digital purchases, so I’ll be holding out until they do a retail release – hopefully.
New poll is now up…except it’s not really a poll – it’s more of a forceful ‘click this button’ because how can you not be glad for a new SimCity? I’ve been waiting 10 years for this – and so have many others. So good to finally get a break from The Sims and get back into city building with an authentic Maxis game!
Wow, you did get lazy. Aren’t you intrested in knowing that THERE are people out there WHO ARE NOT intrested in Sim City?
I was never able to build a good city, and even with the limitations of Societies (which, was good for like one cyberpunk city and then was just boring, it’s more of creative sandbox than Simcity) But I’m actually NOT gonna vote. Because I can’t choose “Nope”
Not lazy, per-say. I set it up this time around only to see how many folks like myself are super-excited for SimCity. Those who aren’t…simply don’t click it 😀
As for City building, I’m pretty bad at managing the cities, but with cheats, I usually use it to see what kind of crazy stuff I can do/make. Plus the destructions. Loved the tornadoes and sending UFO’s after the Sims in my city.
Oh.. yea, that is the biggest plus in SimCity 😀 Destrucion! MOAR DESTRUCTION!!!!!
I’m afraid I’m not interested in this new Sim City. It’s EA at the helm (yes, I know the logo reads “Maxis”, but this isn’t the Maxis of old who put out games for gamers. This is the new Maxis that’s putting out games for EA’s shareholders to monetise), and they’re already talking social crap, day-one DLC, Origin, microtransactions and many other things that exposes EA’s continued lust for money.
I’ll stick with Sim City 2000, where I won’t need 10 “friends” to build a police station, or 25 “friends” to trade with in order to make my city prosperous, and above all, I won’t need Origin invading my privacy by running in the background, nor will I need to feel ripped off when I’ve forked out £35 for a game that is deliberately sold incomplete with day-one DLC being advertised in-game (hello, Dragon Age and Mass Effect 3).
EA have already ruined TS3 by seeking to increasingly monetise the whole experience, and I fear they will do exactly the same with Sim City.
I’m not excited of SimCity if that makes you feel different. Never liked the franchise XD
That’s not a poll because it only has one option to click. And no I’m not excited for the new SimCity.
There’s 195 voters but only 193 votes cast O>O wtf?
