This probably means the kiss of death for The Sims as we new it. EA are bound to jump all over this and say they were justified putting more Social Networking in the game, and will probably add a lot more now.
I’ve just uninstalled The Sims 3 as I am not happy with the way it is going. This is the first time my PC has bot had the Sims on it since The Sims 1 first came out.
I hope I’m proved wrong but I suspect that over the coming EP/SP’s we will see a lot more Social Networking stuff, a lot less content, and a much higher price.
Darn…I was hoping to lose interests in the sims games before they went to crap. I have no hope for TS4…course, sims 1 was awesome, its sequel TS2 was even better…maybe it is every other one??? but that isn’t true, Devil May Cry 3 was an awesome game…same with Age of Empires 3, so it isn’t just 3…it must be EA then…Balls…

Besides… Hm I agree with comment #1 and #2. But that’s just because you don’t take the full happiness of the game, what the game means. 😛
You can do a lot from it, like photo shots, things to give to friends, create amazing Sims, houses, and it’s a big big big big innovation to the world of simulation games, don’t forget!!

So EA want you now to “Like” the Sims 3 page before you can actually see it?!!! Talk about underhand methods! It’s a way to artificially drive up their status.
They really are becoming evil in their methodologies.
At least pirating the game would give them good value for money, just!
