I love the new diner by the way and it looks like we can now add stages to it.
Also the new wall speakers are nice.
I don’t wanna judge showtime. We know nothing on how it works. Sure social features sucks but I think there’s more. These pics looks promising. especially that see through diner.
I really hope that singer, magician, and acrobats won’t be the unique feature of this EP.. I’m really hoping new traits, new hobbies, new interactions, new shops and so on
So….the pics still didnt answer our most important question: Social features on/off? Band with a REAL singer?

I *think* that’s a rabbithole, because if it wasn’t, they’ll 100% put the sims inside the diner to excite fans to buy this horrible pack.
Showtime having more content than any previous Sims 3 expansion pack? HAHAHAHAHA! More content than Generations, sure, but I seriously doubt this will have more than Pets or Late Night.

You would think that they would want to show off the world, because so far it doesnt seem like it will have any new high rise buildings. Kind of looks like barnacle bay.
Of course it’s got more content than any other EP… it’s got all that unwanted Social Networking rubbish in it!!
The actual Sims stuff is only half the pack remember.
I think if this had weather in it we would know by now as it would be shown on the front of the box as it is a big deal!
This pack is the worse one in the entire Sims history…
Don’t forget as well that they are making you pay for all the Social Netowrking half of the pack, but it will almost certainly be added by the next patch as well…
The reason? EA want to try to sell you stuff through it…
The Sims is dying… The Sims 3 is going off course, big time, and The Sims 4 will REQUIRE you to have Origin and an always online Net connection…

Seven, they will be a unique feature, but they will also be adding new venues in addition, and I don’t think that they will be rabbit holes.
World Adventures is the largest expansion of TS3.
Almost 4 GB large.
For comparison Generations is the smallest expansion. Less than 1 GB large.
I doubt that Showtime will be bigger than World Adventures.
The see-through diner is almost certainly just a rabbit hole.
These screen shots show absolutely nothing new, just rehashes of already seen/known features. It just goes to show how ‘empty’ this pack really is.
As for why they are claiming this is the biggest EP yet… It’s the social networking stuff…
They are integrating Social Networking into every aspect of the game, therefore they will have to rewrite most of it. Therefore, the disc will contain much if what we already have but altered to connect to the internet.
Remember, it is half of an expansion pack, and half a Social Network ‘upgrade’… and all FAIL!

She meant, I think that the animations aren’t new. The bartenders throw their shakers in the air the same way. They just substitute the shaker for the sword, and voila, you have a ‘new’ addition.

Guess it is time to hit up amazon.com and rebuy/build my TS1-2 collections, soon computers will be obsolete with the exception not every game for iPhone/Tablet it something all gamers will adjust to, specifially pc gamers. it is like the console versions of sims games are awkward and not fun, pc is way more user friendly. this diatribe is ode to the idea of TS4 (if they don’t scrap the projrct half way thru to poor sales/feedback) being scritly digital download. I personally hate digital, I want a hard copy in my hand!

Well he’s juggling multiple swords at once as opposed to a single one, so the animation will be a bit different than that.
