WOW, I cannot believe it! EA REALLY put Katy Perry’s song, it must be a dumb Expansion Pack then! WOW, ONLY stages in the whole trailer! HOW STUPID.
EA’s buisness strategy, lousy EP? Use awesome song(GEN is a great example, awesome trailer less feature.) Pets, “awesome”(not impressed however) features, lousy song. Thus, they saved money on song, and used money to raise back profit, I ain’t dumb EA, I’m still downloading cracked for it.
Seriously? I only see 3 features, singing, magic show and theblackscorpion said, jukebox+dj. that’s it….the whole 1.48 video…with real idiots cut in.
Well this just blew my expectations out of the water, better start saving.

You sing, you mix, you perform… And for what? 3 to 5 Sims in the audience watching.

I agree I don’t mean to be overly negative here but I saw with late night when the clubs were never full so I can see the whole performance aspect not working as shown in the trailer with us being able to only perform for like 2 or 3 sims and with the large emphasis on singing I hope EA recorded a ton of songs and dance moves.
That said I really hope there’s more than singing and DJing and Magic that’s not showtime that’s crap that got cut from late night.
I wonder how DJ’s are gona work in LN clubs, if they’re suppose to perform on stage?…*waiting for piles of complaints when Ep comes out*. And also…nice thinking Renan O, imagine 1 Sims watchin ur spectacular performance. Ah, the good old days~ (My gigs always have no sims watching, sad isn’t it?)
Me gusta too, specailly the new items and all the showbiz part, but I’m concerned about the “new social features”…
I think it’s gonna be actually fun, we never had Circus tricks before, well.. the more physical circus tricks atleast, we had the magic tricks before.
I think some people are over-exagratting their hate for EA’s, yes, we get it, we all hate them. But there seems to be a LOT of new content in this game.
With everyone complaining about the social features no wonder The Sims Online failed. I for one cannot wait.
I hope your right about there being a lot of new content but that trailer most likely had a lot of EA marking magic going on to get those large audiences 🙁

That’s kinda lame. These all features should be in Late Night. That would be a little bigger Late Night EP, but it would be more awesome than now. EA you are playing some dirty games. Do something ’till the end!
Looks like a remake of the Sims Superstar, I like it! And DJ Booth, Jukebox, Karaoke Machine, and Pool Table in the EP? Total YES!!
Well since we got the gameplay of fame and become a celebrity in Sims3: Late Night , I hope they fix the celebrity problem that causes Sims to become celebrities that spreads around town to most Sims who are living in there, and many people uninstalled the game to get rid of the problem unless if you install a mod, but many people don’t want to install mods because it might mess up the game or something.

This actually doesn’t look that bad. It’s obviously chopped content from Late Night and not worth the money overall but what it does have is stuff I’ve been wanting back. The social features will be optional regardless with a firewall. The SimPort feature sounds like just an automated in game process of downloading sims from the exchange. It will probably force you to download the world and all that stuff. Horray for a massively buggy hard drive space sucking feature. I won’t even dare touch it with a ten foot pole. Something tells me the creature of this ep is going to be the genie with the magic and all. Looks like a filler ep to me, like gen was. Almost certain seasons is next.
Did anyone else see those new palm trees in the scene with the fire-thingamajig performer guy? I wonder if the new world will be SoCal :O
We usually wait until there’s a month/month and a half until release before we do a countdown timer.
Looks interesting. It is all about Sims entertain other Sims with their talents. It is a mix of Superstar as well, it has singers, etc. I am interested in magic shows/illusions because it looks fun.

I think I saw those new palm trees. Anyway, I’m certain that they will be adding a new town, since they will be adding new venues. It won’t be like Generations where pretty much all they stuff they’re adding will be for places that are already in the game.

People are over-reacting, like I said earlier, just give up, if you don’t like the EP, DON’T FRIGGING BUY IT, you don’t HAVE TO. An expansion packs were ALWAYS Optional.
