I don’t know why, but EA has once again changed the homepage of thesims3.com and this time they did more than rearranging the menu at the top of the page. Take a look at the pic below and see if you notice the HUGE changes. I don’t know about you guys and gals, but I don’t always like major change like this. Thoughts?
I think I actually like this a bit more than the old homepage. It doesn’t seem to do much that’s new but it’s prettier.

All right! Looks like the old template for the Sims 2 home page. About time.
Much better IMO. Especially for smartphones, without flash it loads much faster.
No flash? Oh that’s right. No more flash for mobile sites. It’s all HTML5 now. Flash stinks anyways, I’ll be glad when it’s gone forever.
Oh wow. It’s turned into a shameless advertisement for the store. You know, the one that doesn’t work properly and has a forum full of people complaining about it constantly.
Not very good business sense.
Hmmm, it really is just a glorified ads page instead of a home page now isn’t it?!
Because I use an Ad Blocker in Firefox it looks a right mess now!
I like the overall design, but as a home page it stinks!
